Columbia Films released a fresh action/thriller motion picture called "Battle: Los Angeles" into movie theaters a couple of weeks ago. I viewed it,and believed it was fairly excellent. It was filled up with loads of thrilling, action scenes when the aliens tried to occupy and take over the city of L . A .. The movie features: Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Ne-Yo,and Michael Pena.
It focused on a group of army marines, sent to to go in an save a handful of civilians prior to plans to level or bomb the whole area were conducted. The primary reason for this,is that aliens, suddenly, arrived with there elaborate ships and weapons, and began fighting everyone in sight in an effort to colonize the earth.
They slaughtered a whole bunch of individuals, and the place was nearly empty with dead bodies all around by the time the marine crew made their way in for the rescue. They were promptly assaulted when they showed up. Nonetheless, they were able to evade casualties right after the initial hit. It is the hits that came after that 1,that did many of them in.
They managed to in due course uncover the civilians they were designated to save, and had only a few hours to get out of town before the massive bombs exploded. Unfortunately,it wasn't convenient because they had to constantly avoid being shot at by the aliens with lazer-like beams and big bombs.
It was an endless unpredictable battlefield, but somehow, the majority of them were able to make it through. The chief marine person named SSgt. Michael Nantz was quite intuitive, and learned how to obliterate the aliens that were on land.
Eventually,he was able to find out the way to eliminate their flying drone ships together with the help of tech sergeant Elena Santos. The flick was stuffed with car chases, deadly flying space crafts, shootouts galore, large explosions, and more. It ended with a really "edge of one's seat" moment where they were finally able to take out the alien's large control center.
I believed the flick was quite entertaining to watch. However, all the shooting and stuff got to be somewhat old after a while. It just seemed somewhat overdone to the point that I just really wanted them to end things already. Other than that,it was good. It had a great deal of drama, action, and passion as people lost their family and friends, and were panicked. It was just very dramatic.
Furthermore, it wasn't really all that unique. I gave the movie a B rating.
